QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
a)     Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate.
OR
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject comprising the combination as under:

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR TGT (MATHS), TGT (SCIENCE) & TGT (SOCIAL STUDIES)

Candidates applying for the post of TGT (Mathematics),TGT(Science) and TGT (Social Studies) should ensure before applying that they fulfill the following criteria for being eligible for consideration for appointment to these posts.
TGT (Mathematics):

    The candidate should have studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry during all three years of graduation.
    In case of such Universities which provide for only two subjects out of the three as mentioned above, in the final year of graduation, the candidate should have studied Maths and Physics in the final year of examination and all the three subjects, viz, Maths, Physics and Chemistry in the first and second years of graduation.
    Candidates who have passed B.Sc. degree with Honours in Maths subject would be considered eligible only if they have studied Physics and Chemistry in first and second year of the course. Candidates with B.Sc.(Hons.) in Physics or Chemistry are not eligible for the post of TGT(Maths).
    Candidate should also have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in these subjects during all the years of study.
    Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the graduation degree also.

TGT (Science):

    The candidate should have studied Botany, Zoology and Chemistry during all the three years of study in graduation.
    In case of such Universities which provide for only two subjects in the final year of graduation, the candidates should have studied any of the two subjects out of Botany, Zoology and Chemistry in the final year of examination and all the three subjects, viz. Botany, Zoology and Chemistry in the first and second years of graduation.
    In case of Honours Degree in any of the above mentioned three subjects, the candidate must have studied other two subjects in the first and second year of the course.
    Candidate should also have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in all of these subjects during all the years of study.
    Candidate should have secured 50% marks in aggregate in the graduation degree also.

TGT (Social Studies):

    1. The candidate should have studied any of the two subjects out of the following subject :
    a) History with Geography / Economics / Political Science or
    b) Geography with History / Economics / Political Science
    History / Geography as above, should have been studied for all three years in the Graduation.
    In case of Honours Degree in History the candidate should have studied Geography / Economics / Political Science in 1st and 2nd years. Similarly in case of Honours degree in Geography, the candidate should have studied History / Economics / Political Science in 1st and 2nd year. Candidates with B.A. (Honours) in Economics or Political Science are not eligible for the post of TGT (Social Studies).
    Candidate should have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in the subjects during all the three years of study.
    Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the Graduation Degree also.

Maximum relaxation in upper age limit will be as under:

The NVS will take up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidates have qualified for interview. Only those OBC categories which are applicable for appointment under Central Government will be considered.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit is 21 years for TGT and PGT posts as on 01-07-2014.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of Graduate Degree in concerned subject with training degree for TGT post and must have obtained Post Graduate degree in concerned subject for PGT posts.
Application Fee: General OBC and other unreserved category candidate are required to pay Rs. 430/-, Scheduled Tribes (ST) category candidates need to pay Rs. 230/- while Scheduled Caste (SC) category candidates will have to pay Rs. 130/- as application fee.

SSC Multi Tasking Staff Recruitment 2014 Exam Advertisement Online Apply

Age Condition:
Those who are going to apply for the post should have age between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 1st of January, 2013. Different categories have age relaxation in their maximum age as per the orders of Indian Government. See the official notification.

Last Date to send Application Form: 13th of December, 2013 (20th of Dec, 2013 for the candidates who live in far flung areas).

Educational Background:
Applying person should have completed Class X/SSC from the recognized Board/ School. Those who do not have degree as on the deadline date of receiving applications are not eligible to apply. 

Cost of Registration:
Applicants have to remit amount Rs 100. This cost is not applicable to the candidates who are females, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, physically disabled, retired persons etc. The fee should be deposited through CRFS (Central Recruitment Fee Stamps) if the candidate is applying through offline mode. These CRFS will be available at all the Post Offices of the country. Candidates have to complete all the formalities regarding the payment mode otherwise his/her candidature will not be accepted. Those who are submitting their application by visiting the official website needs to remit the fee by Challan Form paid in State Bank of India or using the SBI Internet facility.

Selection Methodology:
Candidates need to take the Written Test (Paper 1 and Paper 2). The Paper 1 will be objective type in nature while the Paper 2 will be descriptive in nature. Those who qualify the Paper 1 will be allowed to take Paper 2 only. Paper 2 marks will not be added to prepare the merit list. The final selection of the candidates will be done through merit list that will depend upon number of vacancies and categories.

Manner to Apply:
Candidates can apply through either of ways i.e. online or offline mode. Whatever be the mode, the application form should be correctly filled and contain the required information about the candidate. Attach the required documents (depends upon the applying mode) and complete the payment formalities.
Call letter will issue only those candidates who fill in the application/ registration form correctly and received before the deadline date.
